The River Liffey is the primary waterway in Dublin, Ireland. Home to the Liffey Swim and other Dubliner's recreational activities in the summer. Also when Guinness first brewed beer River Liffey was the primary water supply. Thus, giving birth to the slang term for Guinness as "Liffey Water." It is my favorite beer, there is nothing more refreshing than a great pint on tap. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
