Berks is a renowned American sculptor who has often been called the "impressionist sculptor" and "the Capitol's Michaelangelo" by the New York Times. His most notable accomplishment is an installation of an 8-foot portrait of JFK on display in the lobby of the John F Kennady Center of the Arts in Washington DC. Robert Berks has immortalized some of history's most important people including Albert Einstein, Pope Paul VI and Harry S. Truman to name a few. This nearly 3-foot bronze sculpture commemorates the "Unfinished" life of JFK taken too soon in 1965. A celebration of American history, leadership and the celebration of life.
